Danger Danger Everywhere...!

Are you afraid of something?

What A Silly Question was that....  Any one so brave to say, he's probably the greatest liar born om earth. Well, I am particularly afraid of death. Most particularly death out of radiation, deadly painful and cancerous!

But, is radiation of nuclear power plant so deadly?

You would be in great surprise to know that you've been living near a nuclear power plant, even if you are miles away from it!

Much more surprised when I say that right now, thousands of electromagnetic waves are propagating through us, without even letting us feel it.!

Okay! Good lot of facts. While watching this article, your cell phone or modem is using tremendous amount of radiation, especially radio waves.  Even if they are quite innocent to be seen but prolonged exposure can harm you. There is a case of a boy who got cancer, just because he kept his wi-fi router under his pillow and slept. Unfortunately, he lost his personhood. But most of us don't do so. And that doesn't mean that we are out of danger. Electromagnetic radiation has literally broke the balance of nature. For us, E. M. Radiation is non interacting in many cases, but there is a mighty power which stays above all and interacts with every other thing. Nature!

Bees can really be affected by the radiations. This kind of behaviour is seen many times and the most important of all, it's affecting their population. And we have to pay for it. Not that we will stop getting honey but if such an affect is caused to the bees it is a must that some affect will be on us too. I don't say so, but studies do. Does that mean, we have to cut on our network usage?

Not necessarily. Nature has been playing with us since we began. You may not notice that but every passing second, even these few while you read the word "word", millions of cosmic non-interacting pulses have passed through you. Interesting, isn't it? And they exist even before Adam and Eve were born, or formed.

Even if they cause cancer in prolonged exposure but they are great life savers too. Radio Therapy used to sterlise cancer cells, are saving many lives every day (I am greatly lucky for not having cancer, but my prayers are with all of you who have it) . They gift those people rather a new life. Light, our great e-m friend has been with us since beginning of time. The colas we drink are tested by gamma rays for any impurities. Our airports and many other places are secured by X-ray scanners. Even your body can be figured out by EM inspection for any unwanted disorder.

If we calculate the daily use of radio signals, it's equivalent of living near a nuclear power plant without phones and computers for years.....! Still, we live.

So at last, an old saying may be repeated, every black cloud has a silver lining. Fear is fundamental truth we have to accept. It is the thing that gave us the very own thought of God. Fear exists unless you face it. And death comes only once. I think fearing something that is sure to come is useless. What we all miss, is this moment. We keep on thinking about our future and past, and miss out the present. What I actually meant to say, is that, enjoy this moment, it would never come back. The greatest moment to fear is when humans stop fearing.

And of course,
Thanks for reading,
Good Day.

I would really thank John Green and his book The Fault In Our Stars for inspiring me. Also my fav, Michael Stevens and his channel Vsauce as he gave most of the knowledge.

Thankyou.

The Mightiest Computers on Earth

Over the decades, we have evolved, not just as human beings, but also in terms of technology. A simple smart-phone today can do more that what the best personal computer could have done ten or fifteen years ago. And when this thought comes into our minds, we can't help but think "If such a small system can do so much, what are we actually capable of doing with supercomputers?" So let's look into some of the fastest computers on this planet today, May 2017. The Computers are ranked based on their Floating point Operations Per Second (FLOPS), or in layman terms, calculations per second. However, at this point a supercomputer is capable of certain Quadrillion calculations per second, thus we use Peta FLOPS. The speed pf these systems were calculated using the LINPACK benchmarks . 10. 15,000 nuclear warheads detonated at once?

What would possibly happen if we detonated every single nuclear warhead on earth at the same time, at one place? There are more than 15,000 nuclear weapons currently on Earth. It is believed that the US and Russian arsenals are individually capable to a complete wipe-out of life from Earth. While the United States of America has about 6,900 nukes, Russia has above 7,000. The average yield of the Russian nukes is about 700-800 kiloton TNT equivalent, each. The question here is, what "can" happen if every single warhead on earth is stockpiled at one place and and detonated at the exact same time?

Switching to Linux : Shortcomings of Windows OS

Hello there! Many of us have been using the Windows OS (considering it's many versions), for a very long time. For some regions on the planet (especially where this post was written), Windows is the stereotypical OS for a computer. However, today we're going to see something which has been known to be the OS of servers and supercomputers, and can also be used in a PC like yours, Linux! To be honest, I've been using windows for a very long time myself, and it is no doubt, a great OS. But there are many places where Windows sucks (bad)! On this post, I shall describe why I chose Linux over Windows, and how you, a Windows user, can move to Linux easily! First, let's discuss the 7 reasons why I gave up Windows:- 1. Paying for almost everything... Even the office suite! Windows is a proprietary software and is not freely available. You must have a product key (purchased) to run windows on any computer. Linux distros, on the other hand, are free to downlo...
