The Greatest War.

#004

War! Sounds critical... An image of sacrifices and sorrow comes to the mind immediately. Humans have fought many wars in history and are even fighting now. World Wars, the deadliest ever, Civil War of America, Vietnam War, Indo-Pak Wars, The Iraq war and countless more. But, in future, which would be the greatest war, humans will fight? Water? Petroleum? Territorial? Or Something bigger?

But wait.... Why would someone write on war on a scientific and technical blog...?

This is probably a question which gives the answer after the reading.

War is drastic and the upcoming wars will be too. It is not necessary that wars are faught among the humans. In some cases, we all might need to unite, and fight against one cause. Such times will surely come in future. Basically due to consequences of our own curiosity.

The Search For Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence or SETI aims at finding of life in depths of the universe. Radio Signals that move in the vastness of space, carrying our message to various lives tell them a friendly notification that we are also there, right here at earth.

Well, we absolutely don't know, what our friends would be like. They might interpret a friendly message to a war declaration. And if they can reach us, it would be a huge war then.

We all are happy when someone comes to help us. So, we made our computers to help us. We began with the era of Artificial Intelligence. It would be quite helpful to us. The machines would understand us and help us too. They will learn from us. That would be much more fun.

And once they learn how to manufacture themselves, it would be, maybe too late. Man Vs. Machine. The greatest war that would be ever fought. The trouble would multiply with the machines going out of our control. I fear it would lead to our extinction.

The war for energy would be another hot topic in next few years and is even going on now. In 30 years, petroleum reserves would dry up, which will lead to, probably a starvation kind of thing, we will starve for energy. If alternative sources are not planned in 10 years, disturbance would begin, and with nuclear warheads face to face, results could be devastating.

We all know that wars are not good for the peace and prosperity of the society. Before any interplanetary war begins or the great technical uprising, we must first focus the best of us towards preventing wars within ourselves. Truly enough, God gave us one world and one life. If I am not contributing for peace, clearly, I didn't honored God's gift for me.

And of course,
Thanks for reading,
Good Day..!

10 Best Jets in Commercial Aviation

Hello followers! Today we begin with the "AceyMac top 10" where we list out 10 of the best of something used today. Today we talk about aircrafts. To be precise, the aircrafts used in commercial aviation. So let's begin. 10. McDonnell Douglas DC-10 With a maximum capacity of up-to 380 passengers in a single class configuration, this airliner came into service in the early 70's and is still used as a cargo freighter. Considering, the long usage history, the number of accidents is quite less. However, as an old and outdated aircraft, the DC-10 gets 10th on our list.

The Mightiest Computers on Earth

Over the decades, we have evolved, not just as human beings, but also in terms of technology. A simple smart-phone today can do more that what the best personal computer could have done ten or fifteen years ago. And when this thought comes into our minds, we can't help but think "If such a small system can do so much, what are we actually capable of doing with supercomputers?" So let's look into some of the fastest computers on this planet today, May 2017. The Computers are ranked based on their Floating point Operations Per Second (FLOPS), or in layman terms, calculations per second. However, at this point a supercomputer is capable of certain Quadrillion calculations per second, thus we use Peta FLOPS. The speed pf these systems were calculated using the LINPACK benchmarks . 10. Trinity, Los Alamos National Laboratory The Trinity project is managed and operated by Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories under the Alliance for Com...

How do we affect the Earth's magnetic field...?

#006 We all like good directions in life. It hurts when we come to know that someone has shown us a wrong direction. That can really make us angry. But wait! What if I tell you that we ourselves are tending to show the wrong direction to us!? Well, we tend to but, we cannot do anything for such a matter. Doesn't matter what we can do of it. The biggest question is, how do we do such an act? Well, you think of it by the time I explain Earth's magnetic field. Earth's Magnetic field The core of Earth is formed of molten Iron, Nickel and traces of Cobalt and other few metals. In molten state, the metals get ionized or the outermost electrons get excited out of bounds of the metal atoms. Now, imagine these electrons and ions as free charges. Due to the rotation of Earth about it's axis causes even these charges to revolve around their axis. And as per Ampere's and Oesterd's laws, moving charges cause magnetic field in the direction of their axis. They work on th...
